Tree Frog Yoga is proud to offer a variety of classes designed to meet your unique needs. You will find that no two classes are the same, and that many options will be offered to accommodate individual needs. Some students need a bit of sugar, and some are looking for some extra spice! You will find it all at Tree Frog Yoga. Come out, join the fun and meet some new friends!!
Our current offerings include:
Kripalu (Krih-pah-loo) Yoga
A 75-minute class that includes centering & warm-ups, followed by a Kripalu-style yoga experience, weaving in a variety of modifications and poses, simple breathing techniques and a soft landing with savasana and guided relaxation at the end. This class is open to all levels. Suggestions for more challenging and more beginner-oriented choices will be offered throughout the class so that students can work at their own comfort level.
Alignment-based (Hatha) Yoga
This 75-minute class will teach you the basic yoga poses in a healthy and safe manner. Embracing key elements of the Iyengar tradition, Hatha yoga will focus on a rotating sequence of postures (e.g., hip-openers, shoulders and arms, back-bends, etc.) from class to class. Through the use of props and a strong focus on alignment and body awareness, yogis of all levels will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection through extended focus on a given pose. If you are interested in improving your yoga technique or think that you have hit a plateau in your practice, this is a great class for you! Some props are provided, but feel free to bring your own. This class is open to all levels.
Freestyle Yoga: A variety pack
Prepare for a unique journey into the fascinating, huge and beautiful world of yoga! Have fun experiencing a wide variety of yoga techniques including beginner to intermediate poses, pranayama, meditation in motion, restorative practices and much more. Freestyle Yoga is designed to expand your comfort zone and explore some of the deeper yogic practices. You will be accompanied on your journey by an experienced instructor who will guide you in a safe, supportive environment. If you like to learn and you enjoy a challenge, this is the class for you. By the way, you will also have a lot of fun on the journey! This class is designed for experienced beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners.
*You may wish to bring water and a towel, along with a mat. Guest mats and other props are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Premium-quality mats are also available for sale.
*A water cooler is available, but only sealable water containers are allowed on the yoga floor.
*Lavatory, shower and changing facilities are also available.
